I wish I felt about ANYTHING today the way Clara feels about this fan.

I want that expression on my face, right now.

Instead, I'm feeling somewhat flustered and harrassed and generally kind of arrrgh.

It's all a bit stressful, this lawyering lark. Nobody mentions that, at university.

Nobody warns you that your work might actually have consequences.

Might actually have an impact on someone's welfare, or family, or livelihood.

God only knows how the doctors do it. Talk about pressure.

If you're looking for me, I'll be hiding out under a mountain of paperwork. 

Possibly weeping into the whisper-thin pages of a textbook and 

muttering senselessly about effing clients and effing colleagues and effing work.
